CLINTON TWP. - A 35-year-old Hampton man was charged with marijuana possession after his boss reported him to police.

After Scott Smith was reportedly seen by several employees truing to hid marijuana and a pipe at the Route 31 business, a manager called police at 11:50 a.m. on Wednesday, police said.

The marijuana and pipe were confiscated and turned over to police. The name of the business was not released.

Township police also reported a 36-year-old Allentown, Pa., man was arrested and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana following a motor-vehicle stop on Route 78 east near exit 18 at 9:20 p.m. on Feb. 17.

The driver had been stopped for speeding. He was ticketed for operating a motor vehicle while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance and failure to signal lane change, police said. He was also given a warning for speeding and released.
