Firefighters will control the Cremà of more than 250 risk failures in the province of Valencia

The Valencia Fire Consortium will have a team of 400 people to control the Cremà of more than 250 failures in the province of Valencia (out of a total of 525 inspected) that carry a medium, high or very high level of risk.

In this inspection, carried out on March 15, 16 and 17, the risk level of each monument has been analyzed, taking into account the environment close to the fault (trees, cables, urban equipment, etc.), as well as the data itself. of the monument, such as height or distance from the façade, among others.

To carry out the inspection, the members of the Consortium have used a computer support that handles all these parameters, the firefighters have reported in a statement.

Thus, it has been determined that the Provincial Consortium will be present in the Cremà of between 250 and 280 monuments, which are the ones that have shown medium, high and very high risk values. For all of them, the Consortium has provided a preventive device of human and material equipment in order for the Cremà to run normally.

The global device of the Consortium includes a total of 400 people, specifically 280 firefighters, 28 volunteer firefighters, 6 communications operators, 16 firefighters from other services, 35 drivers from the Consortium's forest brigades, 30 drivers from forest firefighters from the Generalitat Valenciana and 5 volunteers from Náquera Civil Protection.

A total of 147 vehicles will be on the ground, specifically 72 fire trucks and 75 personnel and cargo vehicles.
