FHP: Pedestrian hit, killed on Dean Road

One pedestrian was killed Monday evening in a crash on Dean Road, near Flowers Avenue, a Florida Highway Patrol spokesman said.

The pedestrian was taken to Florida Hospital East and pronounced dead, Trooper Steven Montiero said.

Troopers did not immediately release the person’s name.

The road is now clear, troopers said.
