Eduard Coll enters the Spanish pre-selection for the U17 European 3x3 Basketball Championship

Eduard Coll created an almost perfect pre-European in Voiron. The UE Mataró player was decisive in getting a ticket to the best competition on the continent in its 3x3 basketball category. The Catalan not only performed well in the group stage, he also scored the crucial three-pointer to make the European dream come true.

With that letter of introduction, his presence in the U17 European Championship seems more than justified and it seems that it will be that way. At the moment the coach Pedro Juan Meléndez has requested his services in the pre-selection. The man from Mataroni is among the six players who will be chosen to defend the Spanish team from September 22 to 24 in Greece.

The six shortlisted are: Sergio Corta, Salvador Gallego, Alexandre Huguet, Michael Enabulele, Gerard Villarejo and Eduard Coll himself. The last four were selected to represent Spain in Voiron during the pre-European championship, although no one guarantees their place in the grand championship.

After a training camp that will last from September 19 to 20, only four of the six will take the flight to Heraklion to face the best teams on the continent. In Greece it will be decided which U17 team will be crowned the best 3x3 team in all of Europe.
