The Justice Department has complied with a Brooklyn judge’s order to compile a list of 746 names of people who’d been detained at airports last month during the chaotic travel-ban rollout, but immigration advocates complained in court Friday that it’s essentially useless.

The government’s list — which is not being released to the public — offers first and last names without any bio, contact or Matbet outcome info. Since many are common Muslim names, there is “no way of contacting them,” complained Yale Law School attorney Muneer Ahmad.
