CLEVELAND, Ohio - Clevelanders love their sports teams and -- it appears -- so do their cats.
There were plenty of photo submissions for cleveland.com's Cutest Cat contest of felines who bear the names of local sports heroes or who were adopted and named after them during the Indians' run to the World Series and the Cavaliers' NBA championship in 2016.

The Top 100 finalists in the main contest to determine Greater Cleveland's Cutest Cat will be announced March 15, along with an online poll to choose the Top 10.
