The Mossos d'Esquadra are investigating a robbery that has ended with a brawl between several people and several injured by a knife in the Sants neighborhood of Barcelona. For the moment, the Catalan police have arrested two people for their alleged involvement. The events occurred at noon this Thursday, during the festivities in the Barcelona neighborhood, between Calle Almería and Plaza de la Farga.
The event was advanced this Thursday by the Sants 3 Ràdio station and for reasons that are currently unknown, the robbery has led to a fight with a knife between two people in a shopping area between Almería street and La Farga square . A few minutes after the start of the "knife" fight, several people with electric scooters and some of them armed with knives came to the place to join the brawl, as explained by the local station. The tumult ended with the arrival of the police and some seriously injured people who were treated in the same place by the Servei d'Emergències Mèdiques de Catalunya (SEM).
According to Betevé, it has not been revealed what role the victim of the robbery had in the fight. The Mossos d'Esquadra have opened an investigation to clarify the facts and does not rule out the possibility of new arrests related to the events.
