The National Police have arrested a 70-year-old retired man in Badajoz for his alleged responsibility for a crime of corruption of minors and sexual assault, after discovering in his home more than 4,000 photographs of a sexual nature taken of minors, many of them taken in his own home, facts for which he has been imprisoned.
As reported this Tuesday by the National Police in a statement, the investigation began after a complaint was filed for an alleged robbery with violence in a home, in which the owner, a 70-year-old man, was accompanied by an 18-year-old girl. years at the time of the events.
The agents “doubted the plausibility of what was reported” by the man, so they questioned the young woman.
Thanks to this statement, the police were able to learn that the man received frequent visits from young girls at his home, some of them minors, and they were able to identify a minor under 15 years of age.
On September 20, the agents carried out a search of the home, where five mobile phones, a computer and numerous SIM cards were seized.
In the preliminary analysis of one of the mobile phones, more than 4,000 sexual photographs taken of minors were located, many of them taken at the man's home.
The investigation remains open through the study of the seized material, with the identification of eight victims so far.
The National Police arrested the man, 70 years old and with a history of similar acts, for whom the courts ordered his imprisonment.
