A plane from Liverpool requires landing priority due to a fight in the cabin

On Friday it was a plane from Oslo that had to land in Alicante and this Saturday night it was a flight from Liverpool to Tenerife South. A conflict on board, in this case involving a dozen passengers, has forced the crew of an EasyJet flight to request a priority landing at the Tenerife airport and police presence on the runway.

According to the information disseminated through the Twitter account Controladores Aéreos, which represents this professional group, the control tower has cut the approach maneuver to facilitate landing and has requested the intervention of law enforcement. The aircraft landed after 10:00 p.m.

Neither Aena nor the local authorities had reported the consequences of the event at the time this information was published, although a later flight that was supposed to land and return from Tenerife South was delayed for an hour and a half. On Friday, the Civil Guard at the Alicante airport identified 15 passengers who had been involved in a similar act to proceed with processing a proposal for an economic sanction.
