A paraglider died after suffering an accident while flying over the area of the Mont-Rebei gorge, in the municipality of Sant Esteve de la Sarga, in Pallars Jussà.
The notice of the event was given when it was three minutes past eleven in the morning and a GRAE helicopter from the Fire Department and a SEM doctor were activated who were only able to rescue the victim's body.
The Mossos d'Esquadra have taken over the investigation of the events.
