The world awaits the arrival of limited-edition Casio G-shock in 18 karat gold

Casio watches are world-renowned for its sports-inspired watch collections that are quite large and highly durable. For those on the lookout for stylish digital and analog watches, Casio Singapore is often the chosen brand that has many variants in the high-end models which are also quite popular. But the price of the 18-carat yellow gold watch that is likely to reach customers by December 2019 has turned out to be the most expensive watch till date.  The arrival of G-D5000-9JR 18-carat yellow gold watch was announced during G-Shock's 35thanniversary celebrations and those intending to own it must shell out $69,500. Luckily some likely buyers are ready to pay for the limited edition watch 35 pieces of which would be available.

Exhibiting the ultimate square watch

The solid gold G-shock has finally arrived after the curtain-raiser in Baselworld 2015.  Way back in 2015 when Casio had just hinted about what was about to come, the watch exhibited at that time was named Dream Project G-shock and had bezel and band made of 18 karat gold. At that time Casio had produced just one piece to sell the concept that made several appearances across the world at events and Casio stores, but never there were any plans of mass producing the watch for selling.

After that in 2018, Casio brought to the market the stainless steel GME-B5000 series that drew its inspiration heavily from the Dream Project G-shock and even started selling the concept of Sapphire Crystal G-shock the new origin themed watch.  At that time, it appeared that the wait for pure gold G-shock was likely to grow longer, but Casio had other things in mind that no one had any clue about.

Breaking the silence

When the world was holding its breath for the arrival of the Dream Project G-shock in pure gold, there came a time during the 35th anniversary Fan Fiesta of G-shock when the creator of G-shock Kikuo Ibe broke the news to the world.  He revealed that the Dream Project was very much alive and kicking and that the day might not be far when Casio would come out with limited edition authentic gold G-Shock watches for only some handful buyers.

G-shock in gold super cool

It is gold all over because the case, bracelet, and exterior screws are all 18 karats solid yellow gold, and it is a beauty to behold that can stun the world with its extravagant appeal.  The heavy-weight watch is diametrically opposite to the ultra-light mechanical wristwatch. The full metal watch that it is, the pure gold G-shock has a brushed bezel and case, and the case middle has mirror polish finish with a black LCD display.

Those who have made reservations for the costliest watch of the world are now counting their days for Christmas because they would receive their consignments of the rarest of the rare watch by December 2019. Besides Japan, United Arab Emirates, Taiwan, Singapore, and the US are the other countries where the watch would be available
