The dog that makes the internet fall in love by staying next to its owner's grave in Saltillo

Mourning the death of a close family member is a difficult process to face. Each person does it to the best of their ability and there are no specific correct formulas or infallible techniques to overcome it.

This makes even more sense if we talk about animals as faithful as dogs. In view is the well-known case of Hachiko, a Japanese Akita dog, remembered for having waited for his master, Professor Hidesaburo Ueno, at the Shibuya station, about nine years after his death. Several films were made from this episode, such as Always by your side, Hachiko (2009) or Hachiko Monogatari (1987).

However, in these cases, reality is usually stranger than fiction. In the last few hours, the case of a puppy from the Mexican state of Coahuila, which is winning the hearts of Internet users because it refuses to leave the grave of its owner after the burial, has gone viral on social networks.

The dog is in the Los Pinos pantheon, located in the city of Saltillo, where it awaits lying day and night next to the grave of who was its master in life. Until now, the same guards and visitors to the place have been in charge of providing water and food to the dog.

This is not an isolated case. A dog known as "Captain" lived next to his owner's grave for more than a decade in the Argentine town of Villa Carlos Paz. According to the habituals of the place, the dog wandered around the place during the day and at sunset he looked for the grave of his master to sleep.

The case of 'Zozo', a Turkish Kangal dog that visits the grave of its deceased owner every day, also became well known. There, he stretches out and accompanies someone who will one day fill him with caresses for a good part of the day.
