The alchemist Judit Neddermann combines Brazilian aroma with Iberian folk in her new album

The singer-songwriter Judit Neddermann does not stop, and the best proof of this is the presentation that she will give today at the Teatre Coliseum (9:00 p.m.) of the songs from her new album Lar.

The one who makes his fifth album will see the light on April 14 and will be published by the major Universal. Until that date arrives, he will be presenting it in a few concerts, like today's, which is scheduled within the Guitar Bcn festival. La Vanguardia subscribers have a 15% discount on the price of tickets as long as they are purchased at Entradas de Vanguardia.

The singer-songwriter from Vilassar de Mar will take the Barcelona stage today a few hours after having published a double preview of Lar made up of the songs Els teus ulls and La llave de la alegría, and which give clues about where the shots are going. She already anticipates that the ones that rule the sound in her new installment are Brazilian music and Iberian folklore in a general sense

On the one hand, Els teus ulls exudes tranquility and warmth through the guitar, the piano and her vocal whisper, while La llave de la alegría is the only cover of the volume. It is a version of, in turn, a version that Eliseo Parra once made of a traditional theme, which opens the album emanating light and joy and where the hand of Aleix Tobías and Pau Figueras can be seen.

It will be a concert in which she will be supported by her band _and will have numerous guests, but above all it will be something exceptional for her because "it will be the first time that I present a record before it comes out, but I trust the public." It is this last aspect that pushes her to recognize that having made this decision is because I feel very loved by the public and for that reason also very lucky".

Among the aforementioned guests will be Rita Payés, the singer-songwriter Vernat "who is a hidden gem", Ravi Ramoneda, the Basque singer Olaf Salvador and a choir of ten people.

Parallel to this project, Judit Neddermann confesses that she has in mind a new collaboration with her sister Meritxell -who is currently working with Jorge Drexler-, to re-form an album with a Christmas aroma, which they would record throughout this coming summer. .
