Rosalía and a famous Japanese chef share a most curious recipe on Instagram

Rosalía is quite a foodie. The last recipe of hers that captivated her was shrimp aguachile, a Mexican dish that she tried during her last visit to the country of tacos and micheladas. She then addressed her followers like this: "Someone please have the shrimp aguachile recipe. Godssss, it's great." But the artist not only demonstrates her passion for food by revealing her favorite snacks. Gastronomic references have not been lacking in her latest album (remember Chicken Teriyaki?) And from time to time she is encouraged to collaborate on social networks with some of the most famous chefs on the international scene.

The last one has been the chef Bayashi, with whom the Catalan singer has published a video on Instagram that shows how to prepare some 'salmon noodles'. Without seeing the clip, it's easy to imagine that the recipe consists of combining the typical Japanese pasta with salmon, but this couple goes further. The noodles are pieces of fish cut lengthwise, which are rolled around each other to become a bright orange tower that is decorated with a little green. The dish is crowned with a raw egg yolk and served with soy mixed with wasabi (the real one, not the kind that many European sushi restaurants serve).

There can be no doubt that the ingredients in the dish are of the highest possible quality and that the presentation can be attractive. However, many supporters have taken a dislike to the raw yolk. "How do you eat the uncooked egg?", "Cook that, please", "Huge Salmo(nella)" and "Why raw?" say some of the comments on the publication, which already has 140,000 likes and more than a thousand responses.

And it is that the connoisseurs insist that the egg is a food very prone to salmonella, the bacterium that causes salmonellosis. This common food poisoning can cause symptoms such as chills, stomach cramps, vomiting, nausea, fever, and diarrhea. But this microorganism ceases to be dangerous when the food in question is cooked at 75 °C.

Despite the disapproval of some Internet users, the feedback on the dish is positive. Many fans of both Rosalía and chef Bayashi have celebrated this unexpected collaboration. In fact, the video that the chef has posted on his Instagram profile has gotten more interactions than the rest of the posts. The last one was starred by the American streamer Karl Jacobs, with whom he cooked a spectacular piece of Kobe.

As has already been said, this is not the first collaboration between the singer from Sant Esteve Sesrovires and a chef. Shortly after releasing her latest album, the singer published a video-recipe for a chicken-teriyaki sandwich with the three-star chef Dabiz Muñoz.
