From 'Alcarràs' to the La Seu d'Urgell fire station

Ainet Jounou, Iris in the film Alcarràs, by Carla Simón, told La Vanguardia in January that when she grew up she wanted to be an actress and a firefighter for the Special Performance Group (GRAE). Her enthusiasm moved the firefighters, so this Saturday they invited her and her family to visit the La Seu d'Urgell airport park.

There, the little actress participated in a simulated rescue in which, according to mountain firefighter Pere Serral, Jounou "has once again shown her acting skills."

"I had such a good time! They taught me so many things! We simulated a rescue. I pretended to hurt my ankle and they craned me into the helicopter! I wanted to be GRAE and after the visit, even more”, Ainet has recounted.

The girl has arrived with her parents and her sister equipped with a GRAE t-shirt, also with the backpack and, inside, a rope and a first-aid kit.

The girl from Bellpuig has surprised the agents by her passion for firefighters. “We have hallucinated, we have literally freaked out. She has arrived with an excited face, thanking everything we taught her, and we have seen that she has internalized that she wants to be a firefighter, ”says Pere Serral.

“It had been a long time since I had seen such admiration for our work. It has moved us, it has been an experience for the family and for us. It lifts your spirits to see that they value our work ”, she concluded.
