Nadia Kyrylova is a tiktoker and waitress whose message on her account is “what we waiters keep quiet about”. Most of her videos are parodies of situations in which these professionals find themselves: forgetting about the desserts that have been sung or the difficulties to take note of a table with very noisy diners, for example.
In his TikTok account, he recreated a scene that is very recurring in restaurants: going to take notes at a table and not being able to take notes because instead of reviewing the menu and deciding what they want, they are chatting about their things. Nadia recreates the role of the waitress, of the diner who asks for more time to decide and the inner voice of the enraged waitress who is already tired of the situation.
In the recreation of the events, Nadia shows what usually happens. A few minutes are left for the diners to think about what they want to drink, but on the second visit to the table the "inner voice" already comes out which, finding that the customers have not yet looked at the menu because they are chatting, thinks that "Then the rush will come and the 'hey, take care of me' and the 'sorry'".
Third visit and they don't have it and the inner voice already indicates that they will decide when they don't even have time to breathe. And it is after 20 minutes, when she is serving other tables that the table, which Nadia herself represents in the video, has already made her decision. As expected, she assures that as soon as she can, she attends to them. And that's when the famous complaint from the diner "we've been waiting for 40 minutes" arrives. “Yes, 40 minutes explaining how Manolo cheated on María”, blurts out the inner voice of the waitress.
The video accumulates more than 230 comments and practically all of them support Nadia's satire. “Totally true, and then they say that the service is fatal”, pointed out a user. "Honestly, I live this video every Saturday and Sunday, they sit down and go on a trip to Narnia, they spend 3 hours talking and then they want it all running," explained another. “I have seen that as a client. People exasperate even the rest who just want to enjoy a quiet meal ”, added another user.
Among the comments of empathy for the situation recreated by Nadia there were also comments that, following the tone of humor with which she had made the video, asked her what finally happened between Manolo and María. Nadia did not leave them intrigued and replied that they were back.
