A hotelier rebukes his waiters for leaving at the end of their shift and wanting to collect overtime: "What are you complaining about so much"

The working conditions of the hotel industry in our country have never been without controversy. Workers and union associations have denounced the precariousness of these jobs, in addition to maintaining that they were temporary contracts. Successive labor reforms have tried to remedy this situation, to guarantee decent employment.

However, some hoteliers continue to ask their workers for an extra effort, according to a WhatsApp collected by the Twitter account @soycamarero.

"Today I felt ashamed of the behavior of several of you who work with a stopwatch in your hand and when the time comes you don't mind leaving your colleagues sunk in shit with 150 customers sitting down with the excuse that you don't get paid for the hours extras", writes this businessman. And he clinches: "Lie!".

This person in charge believes that "there is no excuse or remorse to claim a bonus of one hundred euros" that they do not deserve. And he assures that you have to take advantage of the campaigns like summer, when there are more tourists: "After months without clients that the company maintains your salary with losses, you have the nerve to run out on the last day of summer."

"What are you complaining about so much that you don't see the speck in someone else's eye? If you have a minimum of dignity, tomorrow you should submit your voluntary leave because you don't fit into the philosophy of this company," he concludes.

His text has not been without controversy on social networks. Many users spoil both the tone and the content of the message, recalling that workers have the right to receive compensation for possible overtime, as well as decent working conditions.
