Food intolerances are more common than you think: between 1% and 3% of adults and 4% and 6% of children suffer health consequences as a result of consuming certain foods or food ingredients.
Given the possibility of being intolerant to a food, it is common to undergo a series of tests to determine the intolerance in question. The worst case scenario? Discovering that we are allergic to our favorite food, something that happened to a young woman on TikTok.
Marina Daza, former contestant on the reality show Love Island Spain, has shown in a video on TikTok her sister's reaction after learning unfortunate news: she is allergic to sardines, her favorite food.
"I don't care about anything else. Wheat flour, barley, rye, oats, I don't even know what those things are... but I can't eat sardines or swordfish either," says the young woman through tears.
"It's very strong, ninety bucks for them to tell me that I can't eat sardines," mentions the affected person, making it clear that what she loved most on the list were sardines, her favorite food in the summer season.
The video has already accumulated more than 100 thousand views and comments of all kinds: "I understand it perfectly because it happens to me with milk :( and once you've tried something you like, it's horrible ????" or "The truth is, I understand it "I would die" are some of the most popular comments.
