Poland has eliminated virtually all COVID-19 restrictions

Adam Niedzielski, Health Minister, stated that masks will not be required in public indoor spaces beginning Monday. Only exceptions will be made for medical facilities where staff and patients may still require them.

He stated that other measures were being eliminated, including quarantine for travelers arriving in Poland and home isolation to those who live in the same household as those who have tested positive.

Positive test results will require that positive people remain at home.

This decision is made as new infections are decreasing.

He said that "the most important thing, however, it is the situation within hospitals", explaining that recent waves of omicron-fueled waves resulted in fewer hospitalizations than previous waves.
