The 2024 edition of Survivors is turning out to be one of the most controversial in the last twenty years. The Telecinco reality show has been attacked by up to three participants, after a series of controversies that occurred behind the scenes in Honduras. In the first place was Arantxa del Sol, who would have attacked Ángel Cristo. Then Ángel himself arrived after exposing the scope of the attack, and now it is Rocío Madrid’s turn.

“I wish these words did not exist. I wish my experience there had been different. I wish there was no need to create a term to name something so horrible. But I insist, words are created to be used when it is necessary to denounce a situation. I am very aware of what the word ‘bullying’ means. Maybe it would have been more appropriate to say mobbing, but the same is at the level of meaning,” she expressed on his Instagram profile.

She herself expressed having been a victim of a harassment campaign orchestrated by the contest: “Here they constantly play a very thin line that can be dangerous for the emotional health of a human being. They convinced me that it would be something that wasn’t and that’s why I wanted to get out of there quickly as soon as I saw the reality. For me there are things that money does not pay for but unfortunately, there are people who allow themselves to be bought to harm others.”

One of those in charge of exposing this situation has been Kiko Matamoros, a member of Ni que fuerámos Shhh and who follows her daughter Laura’s participation in the contest: “My daughter, Lorena and Kiko Jiménez are on Limbo beach, and Rocío comes to join Madrid after being expelled. Well, Lorena Morlote calls me and tells me that what is being said about the manipulation to which they have been subjected is totally true.”

“When Rocío Madrid arrived on the island, she says that the director came to the beach and told them: ‘Hey, the three of you have to go for this one,’” continued the Canal Quickie collaborator, who this Monday ended up confirming what occurred after a conversation with a contact. He would have confirmed that Rocío Madrid spoke to him about what happened in Limbo and “would have told him” insults received from Kiko Jiménez. A situation that would end the program’s ethical code, according to Matamoros.

“What makes me very grateful is that one of the people who agreed to bring me down confessed. We are adults, I don’t let myself be manipulated. If they say attack me, I do not attack because there is no money in the world, from my ethical and moral point of view, that justifies such damage. There each one with the conscience of it, both those who direct and their puppets,” Rocío Madrid herself added in her story.
