If you have seen the wonderful musical L’alegria que passa and want to continue to dazzle us with the magnificent maturity of Àngels Gonyalons, now play a more intimate, but equally magnificent interpretation.

Llegat, directed by Montse Rodríguez Clusella, premieres at the Akademia theater in Barcelona. This bittersweet comedy, as described by Daniel J. Meyer, Argentine author married in Barcelona, tells the story of Oriol (Pau Oliver), who is twenty years old and just wants to enjoy life and abandon himself to pleasure, avoiding the commitment and family.

But his mother, who plays Àngels Gonyalons, also has her own plans and considers that the time has come to turn his life around. Maternal-filial relationships are not her forte, because she has prioritized her profession ahead of time with her son.

When he wants to announce to his son that the house has been sold and that they are both going to travel around the world in a van, Oriol arrives home with a boyfriend a few years older than him, Javi (Marc Pociello ), which also seeks to escape from daily responsibilities.

This is where this kind of theatrical road movie begins, where the actress takes the audience by the hand and transports them on a sidereal journey, for an hour and a half full of emotions. Like a good country van, Anna Alcubierre’s scenic artefact is very effective, and allows you to concentrate all the elements in a single widget.

The trio of characters will have to end up understanding each other, willingly by force, in order to survive, to create new bonds and to rebuild themselves as people. Of course, in motion.
