After the contestant's victory, it was the turn for two new contestants to sit at one side of the table and battle for victory. And that is what happened this afternoon. The presenter, Roberto Leal, welcomed Jorge and Alejandra.
The orange team was led by Jorge. The contestant is a child education teacher, from Aranjuez. Roberto Leal joked with him that they are the same age. ''I'm much older than you, three days,'' replied the man from Madrid between laughs. He also told that he has two children, Marcos and Lucía, aged 12 and 9, who are the ones who have really pushed him to present the program. ''They have shipped me here,'' he said.
The new contestant of the blue team is Alejandra. Like Jorge, she is also from Madrid. The presenter asked her about her nerves and she replied that she wore it regularly. Last night Pasapalabra made history again. Rafa and Orestes faced one of the most anticipated duels of the program, since one of the two was going to win the highest jackpot in the history of the program, more than 2.2 million euros.
The Sevillian man managed to win the program's highest award, but he didn't just make history for getting it.
