Unforeseen turn of Silvia Bronchalo in the new view of Daniel Sancho

Today is a very important day in the case of Daniel Sancho, the young Spaniard accused of killing his friend and partner Edwin Arrieta on the island of Koh Phangan, Thailand, on August 2.

At first, after a brief police investigation, the accused confessed to having killed and dismembered the Colombian surgeon, for which, after several days, he was placed in provisional prison. As the weeks passed, Sancho studied his possibilities with his legal team and prepared a defense in which he denied his own confession to avoid the maximum penalties: life imprisonment or the death penalty.

Today, November 27, the second hearing of the case is being held in Thailand. This is a very important day for him, since the date on which the trial will begin may finally be revealed.

Although the alleged murderer is the protagonist of the day, all the eyes and cameras of the media have focused on Silvia Bronchalo, mother of the young Spaniard. The woman visited her son several times in the Koh Samui prison, but she had not appeared in Thailand for weeks or given any signs of life.

His presence at the important court date has implied that, despite the fact that he decided to distance himself from the process and the media coverage of the case, he will always be there to support and accompany his son.

Bronchalo was not the only one who appeared in court. The father of Arrieta's alleged murderer, the acclaimed actor Rodolfo Sancho, has arrived with a confident air and a half smile that suggests that he is calm and that he trusts in the Justice of the Asian country.

Although the accused's two parents have attended, they have not shared space or communication, something that confirms the distance and bad relationship of the former couple. On the other hand, representatives of the Spanish Embassy in Thailand were also present.

Everything seems to indicate that the young accused will once again plead innocent (not guilty) of the premeditated murder of the surgeon and that he will once again insist on the idea that everything was an accident. However, if he maintains the discursive line that he proposed in the first hearing, the Spaniard will admit the dismemberment of Arrieta's body and the concealment of his corpse.

Among other issues, this quote is relevant because all the evidence collected during the investigation must be presented, as well as the different testimonies that prove the crime. Thanks to this, it is expected that the Thai public body will finally set a date for the trial by which Sancho will be tried.
