Two Treasury inspectors arrive at Alejandro Sanz's hotel in Seville to give him notification of his debt

Alejandro Sanz is undoubtedly one of the great protagonists of the 2023 Latin Grammys awards, which will be held in Seville this Thursday, November 16. And although he may become one of the night's winners, we must not forget that the artist is immersed in a complicated situation with the Spanish justice system.

A few weeks ago the news broke that the famous singer had been declared in rebellion by the Madrid justice system due to a million-dollar debt that he owed for his properties in Miami. The events would date back to 2021, when the Miami court sentenced the Spanish artist to pay a debt of three million euros, due to several loans that the artist requested to buy luxurious properties in the American city.

Now, the Spanish justice system intends to execute the sentence handed down by the Miami court. But the impossibility of notifying Sanz of this situation has caused the courts to declare him in default, which could mean the seizure of all of his assets.

Alejandro Sanz's whereabouts were a mystery. But last Monday, the singer reappeared in public in Seville. His arrival caused quite a media stir, since in addition to being one of the most anticipated for the gala, the composer was honored in style by Sony Music, his new record label, days before the designated day.

Now, thanks to the Latin Grammys, it seems that the Treasury has been able to locate the singer to deliver notification of his million-dollar debt, according to the newspaper La Razón this Thursday. Days before the awards gala, journalist Beatriz Miranda revealed on the Sonsoles Ónega program that the singer was going to be notified during the awards in Seville.

And it seems that everything has happened as planned, since according to the information that the newspaper La Razón had obtained, two Treasury inspectors would have appeared at the door of the Alfonso XIII hotel, where the artist is staying, to hand him over said notification. But the latest images that have emerged show the singer without the slightest worries walking through the streets of the Seville capital very well accompanied by a very special friend.
