Tragic death of influencer Tzane at age 23 while recording a ghost town

The world of social networks is in mourning again. This Monday, May 13, the news broke that the well-known fitness content creator Giorgi Janelidze, better known as Tzane, had died at the age of 23 after suffering a tragic fall while visiting a ghost town in a region of Italy.

The event took place on March 13 when the influencer decided to visit the ghost town of Roghudi Veccino, in the Calabria region, in southern Italy. The content creator's goal was to record videos of the abandoned houses for his YouTube channel and for his social networks.

However, the conditions of the place complicated the raid, causing a tragic outcome. The Italian mountain town has been abandoned since the 1970s due to a serious flood. While the young man was inside one of the abandoned homes, he slipped and fell from a balcony without railings into a deep ravine, dying instantly.

It was his friends who notified the authorities of the content creator's accident. When they arrived at the scene they could not do anything for the young man's life and had to use a helicopter to recover his body. His mortal remains were immediately transferred to the town of Saline Joniche and later repatriated to Greece, the country where he resided.

The person in charge of confirming the tragic news was his friend Chris Kogias, who was also present during the trip. ''Tzane is no longer with us. Please, he prays with us so that his soul rests in peace,' confirmed the influencer and friend of Giorgi Janelidze.

The influencer was born in Georgia, but lived much of his life in Greece. He was one of the most popular faces on social media, accumulating more than 100,000 followers on his Instagram profile. His last publication was a video in which he explained to his followers his favorite protein powder, a product that he himself launched on the market. It is a super pure protein with easy digestion, rapid assimilation and good texture.
