This is how Heidi Klum has changed, the queen of costumes and the catwalks turns 50

Heidi Klum is the definition of a show woman. Her acclaimed titles include million-dollar legged supermodel, Victoria's Secret angel, TV host, Halloween queen and mother of four. The German has known how to reinvent herself and exploit her image throughout her career and today at 50 she is undoubtedly one of the most important top models worldwide.

From a hairdresser mother and a businessman father in the cosmetics sector, Heidi Klum's childhood was, as she herself explained in an interview, quite ordinary. Despite not having a clear vocation as a model, the young woman was already standing out among her classmates from the small town of Bergisch Gladbach, in western Germany.

Her modeling career took off like many of her peers, when she moved to New York. It was in her Big Apple when the iconic Vicotria's Secret gave her the opportunity to spread her wings on the most media catwalk of the year: her lingerie show. Klum was one of the brand's most famous angels, walking for it for an entire decade, from 1999 to 2009.

After her time at the American lingerie firm, job offers rained down on her without pause, as well as the covers in the main fashion headlines in the country, including Vogue, Elle, Glamor, Telva or Instyle.

In parallel to her hectic life as a model, Heidi Klum has formed a great family over the years. From her first marriage to Flavio Briatore, the model she had Leni and from her second, with Seal, she had three more: Henry, Johan and Lou Samuel.

In fact, the eldest has inherited her gift for the cameras and is beginning to stand out as a model after starring in several covers and campaigns with her mother, such as Intimissimi.

With a long career on the catwalks, the model takes advantage of her experience to be part of television programs such as Project Runway, Making the cut, American Got Talent and Germany's next topmodel.

Lover of the Halloween party, every October 31 Klum celebrates the most mediatic costume party in New York. It is attended by celebrities of all kinds, her colleagues on the catwalk, influencers and international artists.

Their costumes for the important date go around the world for how detailed and realistic they are. From Fiona from Shrek to Jessica Rabbit, going through a robot, Michael Jackson as a wolf or a worm. There is no costume that resists him.
