Kiko Matamoros and Marta López Álamo are already husband and wife. The couple said yes I do this afternoon at the Basilica of San Miguel in Madrid. The bride and groom have celebrated a ceremony filled with much love, which has been attended by great guests, including their relatives and several of their closest friends.
A wedding that has already become one of the most talked about of the year, not only because of the difference in the age of the couple, but also because of all the mystery surrounding it. It will also be a link full of great detail, since the banquet will continue at the Ritz hotel in Madrid.
The marriage ceremony has lasted almost two hours and after leaving many of the guests have wanted to give their first impressions. One of the most famous faces of the wedding and who wanted to give his opinion was Alonso Caparrós.
The presenter explained that the ceremony has been "very sober and very exciting." ''When the priest declared them husband and wife, there was an explosion of applause, cheers and joy,'' he recounted. A lovely evening that had background music from the organ and a live singer. ''The coolest part was when Kiko's aunt came out to say a few words that she is 90 years old,'' she confessed.
Other of the anecdotes of the ceremony has been the arrival of Diego Matamoros. The collaborator's son arrived late at the basilica due to an illness. Caparrós said that Laura Matamoros began giving the speech since her brother had not yet arrived. ''Diego appeared in the middle apologizing'', he assured. The presenter revealed that Matamoros was very nervous and happy that they were all there. ''When Marta appeared, her nerves went away,'' he said. ''It has been an almost perfect ceremony,'' he pointed out.
After a few moments of waiting, the bride and groom left the door of the Basilica very smiling, and both the guests and all the people who have come to the wedding have received them with a standing ovation, throwing millions of petals over them. The bride and groom kissed and were very happy after becoming husband and wife.
"It has been very beautiful, very emotional, tears have come to my eyes, it has been worth it," said the boyfriend. The collaborator declared that his son was dressed the same as him, since the two decided so. '' I am hyper happy, the emotion that I have felt was not expected '', he said excitedly. After these words the couple got into the car to go to the Ritz hotel, where the banquet will be held.
