Chain reaction has managed to find its place in the afternoons of Telecinco. The contest presented by Ion Aramendi began its television journey in December 2022, and since then it has been conquering the hearts of the viewers of the Fuencarral network, despite facing off against one of the great heavyweights of the small screen, Pasapalabra.
For this reason, the new Mediaset board of directors has decided to trust the space of Ion Aramendi and give him more weight on the chain's grid. Starting this coming Thursday, August 24, Reaction in chain will jump to prime time on Telecinco with several special installments of the contest starring two of the most popular teams in the format.
In this way, the Telecinco space will occupy the time slot of ¡Vaya Vacaciones!, the reality show presented by Luján Argüelles and which ended on August 11, proclaiming Cristina Porta and Jorge Pérez as the winners of the edition.
The special Challenging the waiters will start next Thursday at 10:00 p.m., with the presence of two of the longest-running teams in the contest, the Mozos de Arousa and the Cococolos. In addition, as there are several special deliveries, the program has chosen to increase the amount of the prize, and instead of playing to win the 150,000 euros, this time they will do so to get the stratospheric figure of 300,000 euros.
The Galicians, who have been in the program since May 25, have already won 355,720 euros, a record figure, which no other team has managed to surpass in all that we have been in the contest. In addition, the current winners have managed to exceed 60 programs and next Thursday they will reach the figure of 64.
For their part, the Cocolocos were one of the first teams to endure several programs in the contest. They managed to overcome 18 afternoons, with which they managed to accumulate nothing more and nothing less than 111,047 euros. So next Thursday we will be able to witness one of the most anticipated battles in the program, where fun will be guaranteed.
