The singer Dannii Minogue already warned years ago about Russell Brand: "He is a vile predator"

The renowned singer Dannii Minogue made strong statements about Russell Brand years ago, calling him a "vile predator" after an appearance on her MTV show, "1 Leicester Square", in 2006.

The Australian artist, who had been invited to the program to talk about the release of her album "The Hits

According to Minogue, the comedian just wasn't her type, but he badgered her into giving him her phone number after following her down a hallway, leaving her in complete disbelief.

In an interview with 'The Mirror' at the time, at a Michele Watches launch party in London, Minogue commented: "He's completely crazy and a real predator. I certainly don't think he's overcome his sex addiction, that's for sure. "He wouldn't take no for an answer. He always goes one step further. Never far enough to slap him, but usually too far," he said.

"Obviously, he's very smart, but he wears more makeup than me. Normally, I love guys with eyeliner. He can be very sexy, but not in Russell's case. Absolutely not, never, he's just not my type," explained the Australian singer.

She continued: "I was told that he was fired from MTV in the past for wearing an Osama bin Laden costume to work the day after 9/11. I couldn't believe that she would agree to be interviewed by someone who would do something like that, it really baffled me. And then, throughout the entire interview, he kept making shocking comments that I can't even repeat. Just saying the words would make me blush," she concluded.

These statements by Dannii Minogue now resurface amid accusations made by four women in a joint investigation by 'The Times' and Channel 4's "Dispatches." These alleged incidents include accusations of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse between 2006 and 2013, at the height of Brand's fame.

Before the allegations became public, Brand uploaded a video to YouTube in which he denied the "criminal" allegations against him, stating that his relationships had always been consensual.

In his statement on YouTube, Brand said: "These allegations relate to the time when I was working in the media, when I was in newspapers all the time, when I was in movies. And as I have written at length in my books, "I was very, very promiscuous. Now, during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were always absolutely consensual. I was always transparent about it," Brand defended.

"Then almost too transparent, and I'm also being transparent now. And to see that transparency has become something criminal that I absolutely deny makes me question whether there is another agenda at play. Especially when we've seen coordinated media attacks before, like with Joe Rogan, when he dared to take a medication that the mainstream media did not approve of, and we saw a series of headlines from media outlets around the world using the same language," Brand concluded the statement, waiting to see how The case is resolved with these harsh accusations about him by four women.
