The murder of Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta continues to be a topical topic in social gatherings, information portals and the media throughout Spain. The confessed author of the crime, the Spaniard Daniel Sancho, has remained locked up in the Thai prison of Koh Samui since the beginning of August. During the last few weeks, the accused has been receiving visits from lawyers and his parents, although the latter have done so separately.
However, this last detail has been the one that has most alerted specialized publications in the world of the heart. And according to multiple sources, the relationship between the detainee's parents, the actor Rodolfo Sancho and the consultant Silvia Bronchalo, would be "null." This is what the team from Let's See, Joaquín Prat's new program on Telecinco, has commented, describing the bond this way after Bronchalo visited Daniel again this week.
The new visit comes after multiple visits that occurred last week, in which the legal team led by Marcos García Montes shared several hours of conversations with the accused. Traveling with them was Rodolfo Sancho, who, according to the lawyer, had a special permit issued by the Spanish embassy in Thailand. Visits that lasted up to three hours and of which three in total were carried out.
The other side of the coin is represented by the mother, who was only able to get fifteen minutes alone with her son before leaving the prison again. “In this prison, only one family member per day can visit an inmate; Silvia Bronchalo has this permission until now,” commented the team of The Summer Program in its latest edition, last Friday. These differences have ended up revealing the differences between Rodolfo and Silvia.
Lecturas magazine and other media such as Europa Press pointed out more clues that led to this conclusion. Bronchalo made his last visit on September 5, just before Rodolfo Sancho landed in Thailand for the first time. Since then, nothing was known about it until this week. During his statements, the consultant also ignored his ex-husband while talking about Daniel. Finally, García Montes' most recent statement does not bear Silvia's signature.
Beyond these differences, the detainee's lawyer maintains his distance and reiterates respect for his client's presumption of innocence: “Daniel Sancho is innocent until proven otherwise, in a fair trial, with all the guarantees and in the corresponding court, which will be the Provincial Court, which here is called Provincial Code. There you will see the prosecutor's evidence and ours. Obviously, the Prosecutor's Office still does not have the latest evidence from the Police.”
