The reasons why Silvia Bronchalo would have left Thailand and her visits to Daniel Sancho

Only an expert in international criminal law could try to explain what the strategy of the legal team representing Daniel Sancho is. The Spanish chef appeared before the judge last Monday and heard the charges of which he is formally accused, of which he denied being guilty.

A radical change in strategy, planned by the young man's legal team in Spain, led by criminal lawyer Marcos García Montes and handled by the accused's father, actor Rodolfo Sancho. A situation that has left the mother of Edwin Arrieta's alleged murderer, Silvia Bronchalo, completely out of the loop, so after leaving everything to be with her son in Thailand, she would have decided to return to Spain again.

As confirmed by various sources, Silvia Bronchalo left Thailand at the beginning of October after almost two months with her son. Staying in a hotel near the Koh Samui prison, she never missed an appointment to see Daniel, except on specific occasions.

Now, everything changed after Rodolfo Sancho's first visit to the Asian country. The former couple does not maintain any type of relationship, and they tried to take care of their son's affairs separately and without communicating. This fact, together with the fact that Daniel Sancho would have preferred that his father handle his legal affairs because he "fully trusted him", leaving his mother aside, would have caused Silvia to leave, also very upset by the decisions that would be being made and the strategy of his son's lawyers.

The analyst would be back in Spain, away from the media noise of her son's upcoming trial. Since he landed in Thailand, Daniel Sancho's mother has tried to be the chef's representative, without success; She even kindly attended to the media. From what is known, in addition, she would have tried to hire the services of her own lawyers, with a line of defense totally opposite to that proposed by Rodolfo Sancho's team.

Since then, Silvia Bronchalo has stayed away from her son and the case. Disappointed by how everything is going, she continues to maintain a relationship with Daniel Sancho, although punctually, especially when she learns that the young man becomes "destabilized" with each of his visits. A very complicated situation, which we will have to see how it develops in view of the next trial.

In Spain, Marcos García Montes assured that the legal team has "testimonials, documentaries, and experts that prove that the line of defense that we have proposed is not a utopia, but rather that they are facts." Among other things, the criminal lawyer insists that Thai justice must determine the mechanism of death, since that will indicate whether "there is a full defense."

The lawyer pointed out that this Monday's appearance "went very well" and that in said statement he did acknowledge the dismemberment of the body, he said that "it would be a crime of desecration of corpses", something "inconsequential" and "a crime that carries a penalty of one year."

But, in addition, according to García Montes, to this we must add "that there may also be mitigating circumstances, which are many, such as threats, blackmail, coercion, etc.; and a mental state of a temporary disorder", which is why he said that "To date we have the matter well connected."
