The reason why the neighbors of Miguel Bosé suspect Inés Gómez Mont after the assault, a fugitive wanted by Interpol

The assault that Miguel Bosé suffered in Mexico City continues to leave curious reactions several weeks after what happened. It was last Friday, August 18, when the renowned singer was tied up and held for two hours along with his children and his household staff, while ten hooded men ransacked the mansion. Police are still wondering how the assailants were able to get in undetected, to which many residents have put a name on the table.

This is that of Inés Gómez Mont, the Mexican communicator wanted by Interpol for organized crime and money laundering, who fled Aztec territory in 2021 to take refuge in Miami. According to different sources, the journalist would be the owner of the house located in the territorial demarcation of Álvaro Obregón, where Bosé lived. Likewise, rumors have been circulating for weeks that she could be behind what happened.

"Now it is known that the assailants entered for documents, they have not wanted to say which documents, photographs and cash, so the theory is that Inés's husband himself was the one who sent this commando to go in to remove pending things that she had inside the house,” reported journalist Inés Moreno, being one of many who highlighted that possibility. Another communicator who supports this theory is Ana María Alvarado.

On her own YouTube channel, the reporter was the first to confirm that this was the journalist's home: “Many famous people live in this complex of Rancho San Francisco, including Pati Chapoy, Ninfa Salinas, Ricardo's daughter. Salinas, Inés Gómez Mont lived there and in what house do you think Miguel Bosé lives? In that of Inés Gómez Mont. Inés lent it to him, Inés lent the house to Miguel Bosé there and that is where he is living.”

“It would be possible that this well-organized commando entered directly through the windows of the house without entering through the main house. These are data that I investigated very carefully. This house where Miguel Bosé lives, which belongs to Inés Gómez Mont, does face a part where there is a ravine and a neighborhood, the other houses do not face the street,” the journalist explained. Despite this, there is no official connection shown to corroborate this.

Likewise, Gómez Mont herself denied on August 25 that this residence was her property. “She says no, Inés Gómez Mont (...) she spoke with Laura Flores, the producer of De Primera Mano, they are friends, and she asked her and no, it's not her house, that's what she said. First-hand, Inés Gómez Mont says that it is not her house,” explained Mexican journalist Gustavo Adolfo Infante on his own YouTube channel.
