On September 5, the well-known communicator María Teresa Campos died, leaving a void for all her loved ones. As a grandee of Spain, the journalist's daughters, Terelu Campos and Carmen Borrego, decided to organize two funerals for her, with the aim of honoring the memory of the iconic presenter.
The first took place on September 11 in Malaga, but it would not be the only one. As her daughters stated, María Teresa Campos would have a second funeral in Madrid, which was intended to take place today, September 19. However, a setback has finally delayed this second event.
As Paloma Cuevas revealed on the set of And Now Sonsoles, the reason for the delay in María Teresa Campos' funeral is due to an artist. As Cuevas has confirmed, the family of the iconic presenter would be waiting for an artist to have time to perform at her funeral.
Likewise, it has been revealed that the funeral could be held next week, although at the moment there is no specific date.
Terelu Campos clarified this week the changes to the second funeral: "I am affected because my mother has died. We are doing as best we can," the presenter began by saying and later said that they were finding it difficult to organize the funeral in the capital.
"What we want cannot be done, the church cannot. We wanted to have done it tomorrow but it is impossible. We hope to close it between today and tomorrow for next week without fail," explained the eldest daughter of the deceased.
