José Luis Moreno could go to prison after being accused of the crimes of fraud, money laundering, criminal organization, falsification of documents, punishable insolvency and crimes against the Public Treasury. Some charges with which the well-known television producer would not agree, as can be seen in his last statement before the National Court that this Tuesday revealed the entire program Code 10, on Cuatro.
In the images, you can see Moreno, at times contrite and at times using sarcasm, claiming to be “a zombie,” interrupting the lawyers, and even denying everything.
“I don't know if the term 'death in life' would exist in medicine, as a doctor. That is what I am. Right now I'm a zombie. Don't offend me anymore, please. I'm going to beg him... The only bite is success," José Luis Moreno assured before the judge of the National Court, in images where he can be seen and heard.
“I haven't done anything small. I have seen that small things are not liked. I have been able to do something very close like 'Marriages', but not small," added the television producer, whose behavior was one of rebellion in front of the lawyers in the courtroom, whom he interrupted on several occasions and for which the magistrate had to get your attention.
“Specific question, specific answer,” his honor asked him. “If I don't remember, I'll have to interrupt,” Moreno replied defiantly. “You will have to interrupt if I authorize you to do so, okay?” the judge reminded the producer so that he would not overstep his bounds.
Among the excuses he gave for these continuous interruptions: that the situation was very important for his life and that therefore he was going to "defend it to the death" and that, furthermore, it was because he was a "communicator." However, Moreno did not hesitate when he accused the Civil Guard of lying: “It is a lie from beginning to end, so serious that we would have to know if it is incompetence, which I hope not, because I have enormous respect for the forces of the State.” , because they have helped me on many occasions, or else there are dark issues that should be clarified.”
At another point in his statement, the well-known producer, who had worked on multiple occasions with RTVE, also had poisonous words for the person who was president five years ago, Rosa María Mateo. Moreno, among other things, blamed her for the cancellation of her series.
