On Wednesday afternoon, the program presented by Sonsoles Ónega, And Now Sonsoles, dealt with one of the most delicate topics of the last few hours. Before introducing the topic, Antena 3 broadcast some harsh images, in which we could see how a twelve-year-old boy was brutally attacked by a neighbor while he was playing ball. The reason for the attack was that the neighbor “was bothered by the noise of his ball.”
This fact has left serious consequences on the minor, who lives in terror and even dreams of his attacker every night, since justice has set him free. The most surprising thing about the case is that this man has scared all the neighbors of a residential building in Malaga, since he has several previous complaints of violence and threats to minors.
The events occurred when some children were playing ball in a residential area. The aggressor, at first, warns the minors to stop having fun. But shortly after, the man decides to punch the young man in the left cheekbone, leaving him unconscious on the ground. The small fragment is recorded by a friend of the minor, who was playing ball with him minutes before.
The journalist Juan Cano entered the program live to explain the reason why the aggressor was free. ”He was never detained for these events. The police go to his home, they do not locate him there and when they are taking the report they receive the medical report detailing minor injuries, even though the child lost consciousness. “So the police understand that they should not arrest him,” he commented. ”The judge, after seeing the video, has decided that a forensic doctor examine the minor to check if these injuries are more serious,” he said.
Moments later, the presenter received Carmen, the minor’s mother, on the set of the program. ”I am outraged and helpless to see that I only ask for justice and I can’t do anything and while he lives his life happily, my son does not leave his room, it doesn’t seem fair to me,” she declared.
The mother of the attacked child said that at the same time the events occurred, her son’s friend shared the video so that the authorities would have information. Regarding how her son was doing at the moment, Carmen explained that his face was still swollen and he was suffering from vertigo.
But the worst thing was the psychological consequences that the attack had left on her. ”It’s three in the morning, he sits up in bed and tells me ”I can’t sleep, I dream about him, he’s chasing me, he’s going to come in through the window and hit me.” “She takes diazepam to sleep at only twelve years old,” she asserted. Furthermore, the interviewee claimed that the man lived his life at night and during the day he slept. So all the noise during the day became a great annoyance for him.
