The mother of Angus Cloud, from 'Euphoria', on the causes of his death: "His last day was happy"

Last week, it came to light that Angus Cloud, an actor best known for his role as Fezco O'Neill on the HBO series Euphoria, had been found dead at his home in Oakland, CA.

The 25-year-old artist was spending a few weeks at the family home to cope with the death of his father, who had passed away a week earlier. Many people close to the environment assured that Cloud and his mother were "best friends" and that the death of the patriarch had completely destroyed the actor.

''As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to everyone in so many ways. Last week he buried his father and grieved deeply at the loss of him. The only relief we have left is knowing that Angus has now been reunited with his father, who was his best friend,'' the actor's loved ones wrote in the statement announcing his death while asking for respect and privacy for the family in these hard times.

Cloud had always been open about his mental health and addiction issues, leading many of his followers to believe that he had taken his own life. According to the American media TMZ, it was the young man's mother who found him without a pulse in her residence and called 911. Although the workers tried everything to revive the boy, he had died.

According to the aforementioned medium, when the actor's mother called the medical professionals, they warned about "a possible overdose." When this information came to light, millions of people around the world assumed that the artist had committed suicide.

However, the authorities launched an investigation to clarify the facts and find out what really happened. In the midst of the controversy, Lisa Cloud, Angus Cloud's mother, wrote some harsh words on her Facebook wall to explain that her son really wanted to live.

''Posts on social media have suggested that his death was intentional. I want you to know that is not the case. Although my son was very saddened by the untimely death of his father from mesothelioma, his last day was happy. He was rearranging his room and arranging items around the house with the intention of staying a while in the home he loved,'' he wrote bluntly.

''(...) He did not intend to end his life. When we hugged goodnight we told each other how much we loved each other and he told me that he would see me in the morning. I don't know what he put into his body after that. I only know that he rested his head on the desk where he was working on art projects, he fell asleep and did not wake up, "the young artist's mother sentenced before hundreds of fans confused about the reasons for death.
