The death of Edwin Arrieta and the imprisonment of Daniel Sancho is being one of the topics of the summer, and as the trial that will decide whether the Spaniard is sentenced approaches, details about the tragic event continue to be known.
The last thing that has come to light thanks to the La 1 program presented by Jaime Cantizano, Mañaneros, has been Edwin Arrieta's final conversation with his family.
As the program explains, it is a WhatsApp audio in which Arrieta speaks with his family and wishes them the best just when he lands in Thailand and without knowing that he would soon be murdered.
Edwin begins by speaking to them with this voice message: “Daddy, I arrived last night, time from there to eleven thirty at night in Madrid. Did you hear? I'm leaving for Dubai in three hours,” he explains.
His father responds like this: “Good morning, son. Glory to God. Your mommy is still sleeping. Well, my son, may you do very well. Did you hear? May God bless me always. Take care".
Finally, their last exchange is this: “I'm already in Thailand. "It's six in the afternoon here. How did you guys wake up? And mommy?" asks Edwin, who receives this final response from his father: "I tell my God to take care of you and protect you wherever you go."
