The emotional letter from Gloria Lomana to Josep Piqué: "There is a part of my mourning that I will not let fly"

These are not easy times for Gloria Lomana, who just over a week ago faced one of the hardest moments of her life: the death of her husband, Josep Piqué. The one who was Minister of Industry and Foreign Affairs at the time of José María Aznar as President of the Government, he passed away on April 6 at the age of 68. Now, the journalist has wanted to share a moving letter with which she remembers her husband, and she mentions in it one of the unforgettable escapades that she made with him to a paradisiacal destination: the Galapagos Islands.

The communicator expressed her deep pain through her official profile on Instagram. She did it in a publication where you can see a photo of the couple embracing, very smiling, with the sea in the background. "On this new day of mourning and infinite emptiness for the loss of the love of my life, Josep, I want to thank you for so many messages of love and respect with a beautiful photo of our last international trip," began the former director of Antena 3. News.

The journalist then revealed the destination to which they traveled. "He went to the Galapagos Islands, absolute immersion in nature and knowledge of the evolution of species," she explained. "We were fascinated by seeing an endless number of animals and plants that do not exist anywhere in the world. He had already visited more than 140 countries and he liked that I enjoyed our trips together so much," she continued, very melancholic.

And it is that these first days without his great love are being a real ordeal, although the memories help with the pain. "Today I have the memories, the luck of having been with an exceptional being, of unbreakable integrity, a militant of life until the last breath", she expressed very emotionally. "And I have the task of continuing his legacy, dignifying myself day by day with work, as he did and liked me to do," she added, in a publication that almost reached 1,000 likes.

"'Don't let anyone tell you how you should suffer, ignore the shortest distance, the most vertical line, wander, expand to the sides...', I read in the Max Porter book that my daughter brought me for when you go being able - he advises me - Mourning is that thing with wings, it has a title, "said Lomana, who as a result makes his current feelings clear. "I do not know when I will be able to read it, I just know that there is a part of my grief that I will not let fly because I want it with me, forever. Thank you for following me and accompanying me," she sentenced.

These are being especially hard times for Gloria. The 63-year-old writer is also receiving the warmth of her loved ones right now. In addition, she has also had the affection of the political environment of her husband. During Piqué's funeral chapel, she could see faces from the world of politics, such as Rodrigo Rato, Esperanza Aguirre, Trinidad Jiménez and Albert Rivera, among many others. Now all that remains is the memory of the moments with Josep, a memory that will surely help Lomana to move forward.
