The date of the trial of Daniel Sancho revealed: finally it will not be held this year

The murder case of Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta continues to make headlines. Daniel Sancho, accused of the crime, confessed to having dismembered the victim at a police station in Kho Phagan, Thailand at the beginning of August.

Since then, the son of actor Rodolfo Sancho remains locked up in a Koh Samui prison, awaiting a trial that could be held later than expected. If initially scheduled for the end of the year, the trial will finally be delayed.

The head of the Koh Samui Court confirmed to the press today that he has gathered in recent weeks at the gates of the penitentiary center, with the aim of obtaining all the data of the investigation.

The reporter from the Cuatro En Boca de todos program who traveled to Thailand has given the exclusive: "It will be during the first weeks of January. This as long as Daniel Sancho continues to collaborate and confess, as he would have done until now."

Likewise, he continued explaining: "In case he changes his attitude and does not want to continue collaborating, the date would not be, as we expect, in the first weeks of January, but rather it would be extended a little longer in time and we would have to wait longer. months to hold this trial."

In recent days, the alleged murderer has suffered an unexpected event, since the Thai lawyer in charge of his defense has withdrawn from the case, something that could be due to the entry of Marcos García Montes into the investigation.
