The best platform series coming in April

The month of April will feature the delicious Mrs. Maisel, who with her fifth season (Friday 14 on Amazon Prime Video) will put an end to her story. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, with more than 20 Emmy Awards including Outstanding Comedy Series, kicks off her latest installment with Midge closer to the success she's ever dreamed of, though she discovers she's still too far away. In 1963, Nicholas Elliott, a British intelligence service agent, is assigned to keep a close eye on his friend Kim Philby after it comes to light that he has been working for the KGB. Elliott travels to Beirut to bring him back and extract a confession. But shortly after the meeting, Philby defects to the Soviet Union and Elliott must return to London with his allegiance under his suspicion.

THE LAST THING Apple TV SAID TO ME (Friday the 14th)

Starring and produced by Jennifer Garner (Alias) alongside producer Reese Witherspoon (Big little lies), who acquired the rights to author Laura Dave's bestselling book. The series follows Hannah (Garner), a woman who must forge a relationship with her 16-year-old stepdaughter, Bailey (Angourie Rice) in order to find the truth about why her husband has mysteriously disappeared. The cast is completed by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Aisha Tyler, Augusto Aguilera and Geoff Stults.

CITADEL Amazon Prime Video (Friday 28)

Richard Madden (Game of Thrones) and Priyanka Chopra (Quantico) star in this series that starts eight years after the fall of the Citadel, a global spy agency that was destroyed by agents of Manticore, a syndicate that manipulates the world from the shadows. Agents Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh escaped with their lives but lose their memories.
