Terelu responds to the criticism received after the funeral of María Teresa Campos: "Each one with his conscience"

A week ago we learned the sad news of the death of María Teresa Campos. The veteran journalist was admitted just two days earlier to the Fundación Jiménez Díaz hospital in Madrid after suffering from acute respiratory failure. Little could be done for the presenter and in the early hours of last Tuesday, September 5, her worst fears were realized. The light of one of the great professionals in the world of television went out forever.

The loss of María Teresa Campos impacted the entire Spanish society and in a matter of minutes thousands of people expressed their pain on social networks and in different media. The journalist's remains were transferred to the La Paz funeral home in Madrid, where a funeral chapel was installed so that her loved ones could say goodbye to her.

After cremating her remains in the Madrid funeral home, the journalist's family moved her remains to Malaga, the land where she grew up and where she wanted to rest next to the remains of her mother and siblings. For this reason, the presenter's daughters, Terelu Campos and Carmen Borrego, wanted her mother to have the goodbye that she deserved from her.

And it was this same Monday, when the massive funeral was held in the Malaga parish of San Pablo. Thousands of people from Malaga came to the area to say goodbye to the legendary presenter and to give her full support to her family in these difficult times. But although it was an emotional farewell, the funeral was not without criticism.

Many criticized the attitude of María Teresa Campos' eldest daughter at the funeral held this past Monday in Malaga. A situation that Terelu Campos wanted to clarify before the microphones of the Telecinco program Let's see. ''There are times in life when one makes certain comments and knows who one is talking about one should do it another way, but each person has their own conscience,'' she declared.

''I am a claustrophobic person and I am terrified of being surrounded,'' he explained. ''If anyone didn't think it was good that I was taken care of at the entrance, I'm very sorry,'' she concluded. Even so, the presenter also wanted to have words of gratitude for all those who wanted to show her support.

''Thank you to all the citizens who have dedicated themselves to my mother. "I want to thank all the people who made the effort to come to the church of San Pablo and do so with all their heart, on behalf of my entire family, not just mine," she confessed.
