Terelu Campos reveals how Jorge Javier Vázquez is after more than three months away from television

Since the Sálvame program said goodbye to all its viewers on June 23, job uncertainty has surrounded many of the collaborators in the Mediaset space. Some have managed to continue their television career in different programs of the audiovisual group or other television channels.

But what caught the most attention after the end of the legendary Telecinco program was the news that eight of the collaborators were going to embark on an adventure across the pond with Netflix. A decision that filled many of the format's followers with joy, who were not yet ready to say goodbye to their favorite collaborators after fourteen years on the air.

Although the news has been a relief for all the followers of the program who were waiting for a second chance, the truth is that the absence of Jorge Javier Vázquez has clouded the good news. The presenter has been away from the media spotlight since May 17, after receiving medical leave due to health problems.

A situation that has kept him away from television and that even he himself was not sure if he was ever going to get back in front of the cameras. But to the joy of many it seems that the return of Jorge Javier Vázquez is closer than ever. Telecinco has given the go-ahead to the new Catalan interview space, which will bear the name of Cuentos Chinos. This new format will be broadcast in access prime time, facing the almighty El Hormiguero.

Little else has been known about Jorge Javier Vázquez during all this time. Now, his partner Terelu Campos has been the last to reveal how the presenter is after his health problems. The daughter of María Teresa Campos has given an interview to El Mundo, where she has spoken about the end of Sálvame, the new Telecinco television schedule and the state of health of Jorge Javier Vázquez.

Carmen Borrego's sister assured that her partner was fine. ''He's fine now. It was a shock for everyone because he could have done it differently,'' she said. She also wanted to emphasize that the format of La Fábrica de la tele has had its good points and its bad points. ''It was never a show that made friends. It wasn't built for it, although later it would have been nice to have had one or two at least,'' she said.

About the fact that her replacement was Ana Rosa Quintana, the presenter was very sincere. ''It made us feel bad that they took away the program. Once they do it, I don't care if it's Ana Rosa or Pepita the one with the sticks. I was surprised that Ana Rosa agreed to do the afternoon because she already has her territory well won in the morning,'' she declared.
