Terelu Campos' emotional message to Carmen Borrego on her hardest birthday: "Being together was necessary"

The Campos family is in the process of rebuilding after the death of the matriarch, María Teresa Campos. Although her daughters have already returned to their jobs, and are excited about her new professional projects, the sadness has not yet left her hearts. Something they have made known on numerous occasions.

It has been less than two months since the journalist died surrounded by her loved ones and Carmen Borrego has faced her first birthday without her. The youngest of the sisters has turned 57 with the great support of Terelu Campos, who did not want to leave her alone on this special, yet hard day.

Carmen Borrego celebrated her birthday on October 30, surrounded by her family and, above all, by her sister. "It was not an easy day, my sister's first birthday without her... I didn't want to do anything, but being together was necessary. Thanks to De María restaurant for making it easy on this complicated day," Terelu Campos published, along with a photograph of the two smiling sisters.

Despite being a reason for joy, it is something that they cannot feel right now. "My awakening has been complicated. I don't want to cry but I don't think I'm going to make it, so keep going," said Carmen Borrego on Sandra Barneda's program. After this, they did not hesitate to offer her a cake, and the collaborator blew out the candles, but not before blowing a kiss to the sky.

And this week has been very hard for Borrego. As Lecturas magazine revealed, Alejandra Rubio's aunt had to lock her mother's house forever. "It has been a horrible day," said María Teresa Campos' daughter.

The collaborator was in charge of moving the presenter's last belongings that were still in the attic where she moved just two years ago. A few weeks ago, she herself claimed to have kept an object that still gives off her scent: a pashmina.

As if dealing with the death of her mother were not enough, Carmen Borrego has had to face all the controversies surrounding Edmundo Arrocet. Terelu's sister has not hesitated to come out in defense of María Teresa Campos in response to the comedian's statements in the latest interviews.

"Edmundo is the worst thing that happened to my mother in her life," she said on several occasions in the various programs where she collaborates. "I still have very hard nights. I talk a lot with my mother, but I want her to answer me. And that is very difficult," he wanted to make clear in Let's see.
