Teo, after losing 238 kilos: "I want to live life and enjoy it"

Tonight, in a new episode of "La vida sin filtros", the talk show hosted by Cristina Tárrega, Teo, who once weighed 401 kilos, has revealed his impressive journey towards a healthier and more fulfilling life. The guest shared how his life changed drastically after facing a constant fight against obesity.

Diagnosed with hypothyroidism at the age of eight, Teo began experiencing significant weight gain at a young age. By the age of 15, he already weighed over 100 kilos due to a poor diet related to his medical condition. In the end, his weight reached over 400 kilos, leaving him bedridden and facing serious health difficulties.

In 2018, Teo's story captured the attention of the Spanish media, as his state of health was alarming. He had to be taken to a hospital in a moving truck due to his critical condition. Although he was discharged soon after, his family faced difficulties in providing him with the necessary care and he suffered respiratory failure, which led to his readmission to the hospital.

However, in 2019, Teo decided to change his life and underwent a gastric bypass procedure, resulting in the loss of 242 kilos. In his appearance on "Life Without Filters", he shared his amazing transformation. "My life has undergone a radical change. I can move, walk, ride a bike, do everything without needing the constant help of others," Teo said. He added that, despite the difficulties he faced, his current tears are "of overcoming."

In a touching moment of the program, Teo was surprised by a visit from his mother and sister. They both shared their pride in Teo's accomplishments and the positive change he has experienced in his life. Teo's sister expressed her love and support, stressing that the worst is over and that they have a way to go together.

Currently, Teo weighs 160 kilos, which means that he has managed to lose 238 kilos. Although he has achieved an impressive transformation, he still faces the challenge of excess skin, with an excess of 80 kilos of skin after his significant weight loss. In the interview, Teo made his new focus clear: "I want to live life and enjoy it," a statement that reflects his determination to make the most of his second chance at life.
