Tense clash between a reporter and Daniel Sancho's lawyer: "You're driving me crazy"

This Friday, Rodolfo Sancho celebrates his third day in Thailand, where he has traveled to visit his son Daniel Sancho. The Spaniard has remained in Koh Samui prison since last month accused of murdering Edwin Arrieta, an event that has been of great media relevance at the end of the summer.

Along with the actor, lawyer Marcos García Montes, chosen by Sancho's family as his defense for the upcoming trial, is also in the Asian country. The magistrate has taken advantage of these last few days to address the media and resolve his doubts regarding the case, although he has not always brought out the best side of it.

After explaining that they will try to get "evidence in Spain and Colombia" to follow Daniel Sancho's line of defense, reporter Alberto Catalán, from Mañaneros (La 1), was interested in learning more details about this technique. However, the journalist has encountered a lawyer totally reluctant to answer his question.

"I can go that far," García Montes insisted without letting Catalán speak. "The photocopies that he made for a long time yesterday, were they from the summary?" asked the reporter, with the lawyer's forceful response: "I'm not going to answer any more, don't keep pushing me."

The tension in the conversation did not stop and Marcos García Montes raised the tone right after. "I have said that we have photocopies of the procedure and I am not going to say anything more [...] Don't continue insisting; if you don't want to understand, that's as far as I'll go," the magistrate responded, refusing to give more details.

Minutes later, the lawyer attacked Alberto Catalán again in a new intervention by the reporter. "You drive me crazy," he responded to the incredulity of the Mañaneros journalist. "I really think you drive me crazy," he continued insisting.
