Taylor Swift scares her fans by running out of air in the middle of the concert

These have been difficult days for the American artist Taylor Swift. The singer of Love Story, Shake it off, You belong with me, Look what you made me do or Cruel Summer is immersed in her world tour The Eras Tour, which has been based in Brazil for several days.

Although there is a large community of fans of the winner of 12 Grammy Awards in the South American country and Swift is delighted to perform in cities like Rio de Janeiro, recent events have extinguished any shred of happiness.

Brazil is experiencing an unprecedented heat wave in the territory that has triggered health alerts. The authorities issued different warnings and made it clear that, in such conditions, an event like the one in Swift was a clear danger to life, since the thermal sensation was more than 60º.

Last Friday, November 17, thousands of people waited patiently for the Pennsylvanian to come out and sing. Although they were excited, the situation was critical due to the heat and dehydration. It should be noted that the organization of the event did not allow liquids to enter the venue, so many people felt dizzy from sweat and thirst.

The situation reached such a point that the singer and her team had to intervene by distributing bottles of water to the public, an insufficient measure considering the thousands of people present.

Unfortunately, the concert at the Nilton Santos Olympic Stadium ended in the worst possible way: a 23-year-old girl named Ana Benavides died due to cardiac arrest caused by the unbearable temperatures.

"I can't express how devastated I am. I have very little information other than the fact that she was incredibly beautiful and too young. I won't be able to talk about this from the stage because I feel overwhelmed with grief when I even try to talk about it," the interpreter wrote on her Instagram account when she heard the news.

The fans were not the only ones affected by the weather. During these days, a video has been spreading on different social networks in which you can see how Swift has difficulty breathing during the show she gave on Friday in Rio.

After finishing the show in which a young woman died and in which the singer almost fainted due to the physical effort she was doing, the American and her team decided to cancel Saturday's concert.
