Susanna Griso is forced to apologize to José Manuel Parada for a video from 'Espejo Público'

Last week, in Espejo Público there was a disconcerting moment to say the least. It was in its current affairs section, when the program broadcast a video dedicated to José Manuel Parada in which they mocked him for "not missing a funeral" and how all of his friends were dying one after another.

A report that soon received thousands of criticisms from viewers and social media users, who considered it "embarrassing" and in very bad taste. José Manuel Parada himself shared a text on his Instagram account in which he assured that he had not found it funny at all. A video for which the presenter had to apologize.

Susanna Griso, presenter of the space, was one of the winners in the ninth edition of the Chicote awards, where she showed her excitement for this new recognition of her professional career. An award that she did not hesitate to dedicate to her team, with whom she has spent almost two decades.

"I dedicate the award to my people, to my team. I am happy with them. We have been together for 18 years and we have come of age and this season we have had additions, reinforcements that are making the program especially attractive and fun," he said.

One of those incorporations is the journalist Nando Escribano, author of the report dedicated to Parada, which the public did not like at all. For this reason, the presenter wanted to apologize.

"We have a particularly witty scriptwriter who made a video that bothered him a little. It must be said that the video was very creative, but I understand poor Parada's anger," insisted Susana Griso, who defended her team and apologized to the presenter.

"From here, my apologies and all my love. It was done with humor and the person who did it assures me that he did it with the greatest of affection because he loves José Manuel Parada a lot even though he may not seem like it," said the presenter.

We don't know if these explanations will help the former presenter of Cine de Barrio, but he certainly wasn't amused by its broadcast. The now collaborator of Fiesta, on Telecinco, called those responsible for the program "savages" for having disrespected them.

"To me. To my pain for friends who have died," the presenter insisted, "There are so many indignant colleagues. So many people that I don't even know and who have expressed their rejection that they should reflect and ask for forgiveness from me, my dead people and my friends. your family and friends. You cannot laugh at the death or pain of others," he snapped.
