The news of Ana Obregón's maternity by surrogacy has been an information bombshell. In fact, even the television news have dealt with the news and the most important presenters in our country have expressed their opinion about it. There have been those who have harshly criticized the actress, calling her selfish, but also those who have come out of her defense.
In this last group we can include Sonsoles Ónega, presenter of Antena 3, who did not hesitate to make her position clear on the matter in her program this Wednesday. And it is that, according to the journalist, when it comes to personal issues, nobody is the one to criticize anything.
Sonsoles Ónega began the program with the news of the day and shortly after, a debate on the subject began on the set with various regular gatherings. One of the first questions that came up and that the presenter exposed was the age of Ana Obregón to become her mother again. Something that surprised everyone. "Doesn't it impact you?" Ónega wanted to know.
“Absolutely”, answered Miguel Lago, “actually it is what impacts me the most. Society is ahead of the laws, beyond the surrogacy debate. To me, the age of Mrs. Ana García Obregón seems amazing to me ”. To which Ángela Vallvey replied with: "And why doesn't the age of the parents who are 80 or 70 years old impact us?" "It is too," the presenter quickly added.
After the intervention of the lawyer Bárbara Royo, who mentioned that the baby will be orphaned sooner than other children due to her mother's advanced age, Sonsoles came out in defense of the actress. "Ana Obregón shows signs of being a woman who has probably organized everything and has left everything tied up and well tied up," she commented.
After several minutes of debate and before changing sections, Sonsoles Ónega would get up from her chair and approach the public stands to find out their opinion on the matter.
"Ma'am, what do you think of all this?" He asked a spectator. "Well, very good, great," she replied. "If not?" Asked the presenter. “I love it,” added the woman. "I'm telling you about Ana Obregón, not the program," the journalist wanted to clarify. "Yes, yes, it seems very good to me," insisted the lady from the public.
Later, Sonsoles asked a man about the same question, who answered “of course”, as well as a young woman who said “me too”.
Given these three opinions in favor of Ana Obregón's motherhood, the presenter made a reflection to settle so much controversy on the subject: “Well, then who are we to criticize anything. If people think it's okay, that's what I say, what the hell are we doing criticizing”.
