Sofía Suescun returns to reality shows with 'Survivors: All Stars'

Survivientes is one of the longest-running television formats in the well-known history of Telecinco. A contemporary of Big Brother but finding his peak years later, he has been on the air for more than twenty years taking a multitude of anonymous people, celebrities and other personalities to a desert island. Be it by living together, overcoming tests and trying to overcome the multiple conflicts that arise in this regard.

A situation that is currently being experienced in Cayos Cochinos, Honduras, with the current edition of the reality show. However, Mediaset is already preparing its first moves for the format's next project, Survivientes: All Stars. An initial file that was revealed this Monday afternoon, when the first contestant of this new contest was confirmed: Sofía Suescun, Maite Galdeano's daughter.

This is a surprise return to the Fuencarral network by the former contestant of the program, since she had been banned from the group for the last three and a half years. A decision made by her then CEO Paolo Vasile, who punished her after the one from Pamplona refused to collaborate with her influencer agency. In this way, Suescun returns to the channel and the program where she made herself known.

Winner of Big Brother 16 and Survivors 2018, she has also participated in other projects in the house such as Women and Men and Vice Versa, Viva la vida, Come have dinner with me, The Strong House, It's Already Midday and others. Her return was preceded by several days of promotion by the current installment of the reality show, warning that “the most desired visitor arrives on the island this Tuesday and has a lot to tell,” coinciding with the star test of the program: the noria.

Suescun starred in the most famous in the history of the format alongside Logan, although at the moment she is the only officially announced contestant on Survivors: All Stars. This is a version of continuity of the current contest that is taking place in Honduras, with the participation of several legends and well-remembered faces from the more than twenty years that Supervivientes has been on the air.

The connection between the 2024 installment and All Stars will be maximum, since the format will be produced and hosted by the same team that has been underway for months in Cayos Cochinos. In fact, the vast majority of the production's coaching staff is expected to extend their stay in Honduras during the beginning of the summer. Telecinco plans to broadcast the new version of the program as soon as the current one ends, between June and July.
