Silvia Bronchalo reveals the status of Daniel Sancho in prison: "He's calm"

Daniel Sancho has already finished his period of isolation due to the Covid protocol and is already receiving the first visits in the Koh Samui prison in Thailand. The son of actor Rodolfo Sancho, who is in provisional prison for allegedly murdering and dismembering the Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta, has been able to see his mother on two occasions.

Last Thursday, Silvia Bronchalo entered and left the facilities without saying anything at all, and hardly looking at the press. For her part, the journalists decided to give the actress her space in these difficult moments. However, on the second visit this Friday, the defendant's mother did not hesitate to offer her first words about the situation of her son.

Accompanied by a person from the Spanish Embassy in the Asian country, Bronchalo wanted to speak to the press this second time, after spending 45 minutes with her son. "I thank you very much for the interest, the respect, the empathy that you are showing, especially yesterday, which has been very difficult for me," she has begun to recount.

However, if something has attracted attention, it is the state in which Daniel Sancho is after two weeks in prison. "He is much better, he is calm, they are treating him very well and well, just waiting for everything to be resolved, very calmly," his mother assured.

Although she wanted to make it clear that Daniel Sancho is facing these first days the best he can in the situation, it seems that the one who is not having a good time is her: "Nobody expects such a thing, nobody is prepared to receive a news like that. No one prepares us for this."

Silvia Bronchalo has been able to see her son in person, but has not been able to touch him. As in the first visit, they have been separated by glass at all times and talking through a telephone. And it is not surprising that tears have jumped between them. "Has Daniel been moved to see you?" The reporter from The Summer Program asked him. "Yes, of course, like me too," he replied.

Despite dedicating herself to acting for a moment in her life, Silvia Bronchalo wanted to move away to dedicate herself to the business world because she was not prepared for media pressure. In 1994, when she gave birth to Daniel Sancho, also the son of Rodolfo Sancho, she made the decision.

After these visits, the defendant's mother plans to return once a day, something allowed in Thai prisons. According to the same reporter from The Summer Program, Bronchalo has paid 500 Bats, or what is the same, 13 euros, to his son so that he can buy food. Something that he will continue to do throughout the days.
